Lockers are normally quite narrow, of varying height and tier arrangement, width and depth usually conform to standard measurements, The characteristics that usually distinguish them from other types of cabinets or cupboards are, Lockers are usually joined together but not always, Steel lockers that are joined together in banks will share side walls, Lockers will usually have some type of ventilation in the front door to help prevent air flow and to aid cleanliness. All lockers will have a lock or a provision for a padlock.
